Making Maker Literacies: Integrating Academic Library Makerspaces into the Undergraduate Curriculum

Paper presented at ISAM 2017, International Symposium on Academic Makerspaces.

Abstract: This paper provides an overview of the Maker Literacies pilot program ongoing at the University of Texas at Arlington Libraries. It includes case studies of three courses that have participated in the program, with an emphasis on problems with assessment experienced in the initial pilot. Recommendations are provided for improving assessment in future iterations of these courses.
